How to get your business recommended by Siri and Apple Maps
Updated October 17, 2026
When someone says “Hey Siri, find a florist near me”, the answer comes from Apple Maps. Every iPhone uses it by default, and most local businesses have never looked at their Apple listing. That’s an easy win.
Step 1. Claim your place on Apple Business Connect
Go to businessconnect.apple.com and sign in with an Apple ID. It’s free. Search for your business. If it’s there, claim it. If it isn’t, add it. Apple will verify that it’s yours, usually by phone or with a document.
Step 2. Fill in everything
- Your exact business name, the way it’s written on your sign.
- The right category (for example Plumber, not just Services).
- Address, phone and website, exactly the same as on your Google listing.
- Opening hours, including holidays.
- Photos: the outside, the inside, your team and your work.
Step 3. Keep it matching everywhere
Siri, Google and ChatGPT all trust businesses whose details match from one place to the next. If your phone number is different on Apple Maps and Google, fix the old one.
Step 4. Reviews still matter
Apple Maps shows ratings, and people pick the business with more good reviews. Keep asking every happy customer for a review on Google, and reply to every review you get.
How to check it worked
On an iPhone, ask Siri for your kind of business in your town, and search for your business name in Apple Maps. Changes can take a few days to show.
